Recycling and Yardwaste pickup has resumed. Office at 920 American Way is open Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Recycling Center, Reuse Center, Vegeatative Waste Yard and the HHW Facility are CLOSED until further notice.

All services are suspended at destoryed homes. If you need to restart services please make sure to contact us when returning home to update your service needs and contact information.

If you are on Autopay please make sure to go into to bill pay and stop it.
It is very important to note that no fire related debris can go into the trash carts. Please note that there is a service and disposal fee for bulky item pickups for empty Refrigerators and Freezers.

RERIGERATORS
When returning to your home please make sure to follow all county health and safety procedures. Throw out all food and follow the proper cleaning procedures to sanitize your refrigerator, which can be found at www.buttecountyrecovers.org/re-entry. Once your refrigerator is emptied of all food contents, if you would prefer to recycle rather than clean it, you can take it to your local scrap metal yard, the Neal Road Recycling and Waste Facility, or contact customerservice@northernrecycling.biz and request a bulky item pickup. Again, please remember that fire related debris should not be disposed of in your trash carts.

Airbnb has opened up their local homes for free to people affected by the camp fire. Guests who wish to take part in the program will need to create a free account with Airbnb. Butte County Sheriff: request that you check for the status of loved ones and list yourself on the safe and well website www.safeandwell.org, and/or to contact their office if you still cannot locate someone at 530-538-7322 to request a welfare check or file a missing persons report.
